Recently my first (severe) attack occurred. Taking 400 mg of Turmeric per day has almost eliminated my pain. MUCH better than ibuprofen for pain relief. However, on the bottle it states not to use for bile duct and/or gallstones. Can someone explain why? It seems to be working great I was diagnosed with gallstones two years ago but never had any symptoms. Recently my first (severe) attack occurred.
